I took the ferry on the inside passage route. 12 hours of stunning scenery and wildlife. I can't say enough about the views...I stood on deck for most of the voyage. Keep in mind that this isn't a cruise ship. The food is OK...better than most ferry food I have eaten, but not exactly a culinary experience. Did I mention... More

Having taken the same trip on the old ferry and now on the new ferry, the improvements are greatly appreciated. Better soundproofing between cabins, outlets for devices easily at hand, small desk, more-than-adequate bathroom with shower, decent light for reading in bed, etc., etc. Dining facilities are also greatly improved. Esthetically, this ship is very pleasing. Well done, BC Ferries!

NortheIt has an exceptional crewrn Adventure is B.C. Ferries flagship. It's exceptional crew keep it looking brand new. It has a cafeteria and a white tablecloth restaurant - or bring your own sandwiches. Lovely experience.

This was a fantastic trip. We splashed out on Aurora lounge seating ($35) which I would highly recommend booking in advance- we had seats at the very front of the boat, meaning when whales or dolphins were spotted (and lots were), we could see them whichever side they appeared. It also includes a complimentary drink and snacks, so is pretty... More

The ferry is clean, save and comfortable, the view is amazing. We liked our cabin, it was small but comfy. 5 stars for that! The food service on the other hand is less than expected. The sign: "temporally out of order" was used to often. They are equipped for two cashiers, but Just one cashier is available at dinner or... More

Took Inside Passage day cruise during August. Very quiet on board and surprisingly not full at this time of year. Beautiful scenery and several opportunities to see humpback whales although the captain only announced this once. We spent a lot of time on deck outside ( it was a lovely day) looking for wildlife and saw lots of whales at... More

What a great way to see the Inside Passage. I took the restful ferry ride in late June. The weather was perfect for a day on the water. The scenery, ship condition, staff and restful day were all fantastic. I will definitely do this again. I had a cabin so there was the chance to get a little sleep as... More

Recently returned from a return trip to Vancouver Island via the ferry from Prince Rupert. Our trip was good, in typical West coast weather, sun, cloud fog & rain and was capped by a spectacular sunset an hour out of Port Hardy. The ship is comfortable but if we were take the trip again I would spring for seats in... More

Had taken suite 701 with a front and side port holes so we had an excellent view of the passage. A bit pricey but the view was well worth the trip. Comfy queen sized bed, clean bathroom/shower. Didn't care very much for the overpriced cafeteria food but we knew that ahead of time having taken the Tsawassen / Swartz Bay... More

I had been looking forward to this trip for several years. I knew that the coast would be beautiful, and I figured that since BC Ferries promotes this trip as a great (and very expensive) tourist experience, that they would really go overboard to make it memorable. Unfortunately I was sadly mistaken. The only good thing was our sleeping cabin,... More
