Jamie's is the West Coast's Original Whale & Wildlife Adventure Centre, navigating the waters of Clayoquot and Barkley Sound since 1982. We are thrilled to be celebrating over 30 years on the water! We have the largest fleet in the area, offering whale watching & bear watching on larger covered cruisers or zodiacs! Join our experienced and knowledgeable crew as we help you discover this beautiful destination. We also offer tours to Hot Springs Cove (by boat or seaplane), kayaking, water taxi service to Meares Island, scenic flights, and much more. Visit us at our Tofino and Ucluelet locations, where we have gift shops and lots of FREE parking (including RV parking in Tofino). Please note that all Jamie's tours are subject to a $3 research fee, which goes directly to benefit local, non-profit groups involved with wildlife research, rescue and education. We also have complimentary kennels in Tofino for your dogs while you're out exploring with us!

We went on a morning whale watching tour on the covered boat Chinook Princess out of Tofino, with Chris and Rachel as crew. They provided an excellent atmosphere with friendly attitudes and witty comments as well as lots of commentary facts along the way. We saw a total of 5-6 gray whales, tons of sea lions, a few sea otters... More

A party of 4 of us went with Jamies to see the whales today and found it very good indeed. The pre trip safety talk was very good and gave you confidence that the team were all well prepared for any mishaps. Well we got out to the sighting area in about 50mins then spent about 45mins watching Grey Whales... More

We did the Whale Watching tour on a Zodiac. In all, a great experience! Checking in at the desk went smooth, attentive staff. We got to wear life-jacket-suits + raincoats; provided the warmth we needed, but I was happy I was still wearing 3-layers underneath! Our captian Chris was a very pleasant speaker and knew a lot about the ocean... More

We went on an early morning zodiac tour to see the black bears eating crabs. It was a fantastic trip. Our tour guides were knowledgable and the whole tour was a very positive experience. If you stay at Jamies Rainforest retreat you receive a discount on the tour. I would highly recommend this tour.

Very easy to use website for booking. We got a call back right away to say they didn't have dog kennels in Uclelet but they did have in Tofino so we switched to Tofino, got confirmation right away. Front end staff in Tofino were awesome. They showed us kennels etc. and made us feel very comfortable with leaving our dog... More

Went on the bear watching trip this morning. We came to Tofino specifically to take this tour and it did not disappoint. The staff in the office and our boat captain were so friendly. They really seem to enjoy these tours. When we made our reservation we expected to be on the large enclosed boat. However, because it is early... More

My husband and I had never been to Tofino, but heard it was beautiful. We went on a zodiac whale watching tour with our guides, Mark and Jeremy. Although it was raining quite heavily, we had a ton of fun. At first, we weren't having any luck finding whales, but we did see a sea lion and some otters. However,... More

Wow, these guys are super! Everyone in the office/store is so friendly and helpful, and from start to finish, we had a great time. We did the bear watching trip and did see bears, but they have a guarantee just in case. Chris, our driver and guide, was the best too! They provide everything to keep you warm and dry,... More
