Wow! This walk is jaw dropping; massive living and fallen trees with incredible mossy ingrowths and thick ferns obscuring primitive flowers and shrubs. The walkway itself is beautifully done (with new cedar) which makes the stroll easy and adds interest and novelty. There is just...More

A nice easy walk and a good way to spend a couple of hours. Once done though wouldn't need to do again.

Among my favored trails in the Pacific Rim National Park, and one of few that doesn't end at a beach. It's nice and short (about 1km for each loop), a relatively easy hike, with many many beautiful things to look at throughout. The canopy also...More

Beautiful trails through the lush rainforest was great to do when it was raining as the canopy kept a lot of the rain out. The trails were really well maintained and the forest was absolutely beautiful. There are trails on either side of the road...More

This is one of the many trails available in tofino. Easy walking but muddy during rainy season. 2 km for each loop with information available along the loop.

Brilliant walk in 2 sections of temperate rainforest. Lovely boardwalk all the way round. Can be slippy when wet.

How do you find The Rainforest Trail as it doesn't appear on the website. How does one get there from Tofino?

It's a short drive from Tofino, towards Uqleut. If you go to the visitors centre you can pick up a free map and all locals should be aware of it.
