Located on Meares Island you take a water taxi to get there. 10-20 dollars and a five minute ride. The hike takes you through a dense forest, climbing over and under fallen logs and big, tangling roots. It starts out pretty flat but gets steeper...More

This is a challenging hike, I'm from alberta and usually climb mountains and found it challenging. Rocks, mud and climbing over trees made it challenging, it was pretty vertical. Overall a unique hike with the boat and all.

I'm stunned by the negative reviews. This is nature, folks. It's not supposed to be a walk through the park. It's a mountain! It's gruelling, ruthless, exhausting, and it's nature in it's purest form the way it should be. The path is clearly marked, yes,...More
