Considered by many to be one of the best boardwalk hikes around, you will be immersed in the natural serenity of the temperate rainforest. You can take the easy stairs to the beach, where you can gaze at the gentle waves crashing in. During low tide, an inviting passage presents itself so you can make your way to a small island where you may find bald eagles soaring above. Schooners Cove is nothing less than invigorating and rejuvinating. Truly a picturesque adventure.

This was my favorite trail while visiting Tofino . Make sure to go at low tide when the whole beach is visible and you can reach the islands. After a kilometer walk you arrive at a glorious beach. It is an up and down trail...More

Walk a short boardwalk trail through old growth forest that is magical and wind up at one of the prettiest stretches of beach you'll ever see. We went left and walked about two miles out. Our only company we're the seagulls. Peaceful, gorgeous and awe...More

Schooner Cove is spectacularly beautiful, in an area full of incredible beauty. It is my favorite beach. Wonderful at low tide when you can walk out to islands to explore and take in the full length of the beach. It is amazing.

Regardless of the weather this walk in from the parking lot is worthwhile. The boardwalk trail and the arrival at the sandy beachfront is something you'll always remember.

The hike to this beach was beautiful! We loved the unique boardwalk and saw some huge trees! I felt like I was in the jungle. There were quite a few stairs on the hike although we would still rate the hike as easy just not...More

Walked out from Pacific Rim Highway with my 16 yr daughter and we both felt the same experience. What a beautiful location. Of course, nothing in the world will ever beat England, but this is a very close second!!!

We had limited time in Tofino and were told that this was a favorite for locals and a great combination of old growth forest plus beautiful beach. It is all on wooden boardwalk. There were a number of missing or broken planks, so be cautious...More

Ordered the 52 dollar 1 pound crab. Got 6 crab legs. Less then 1 pound. The meat is in the shell but it wasn't served. Expecting a lot more when ordering a meal for 52 dollar.

This is a super fun hike - all on boardwalk. Lots of stairs and good photo opps. The forest is amazing, but the beach at the end is even more spectacular. We arrived at low tide and were able to walk over to the island...More
