A lovely well set out botanical gardens. Love wandering through the gardens to the bay and looking out over Tofino Inlet. Glorious.

Decided to visit these Gardens and very glad we did --- the network of paths and boardwalks lead you through 12 acres of gardens, forests and shoreline in a relaxing, informative stroll. Interesting, original and unique sculptures and art work by Michael Dennis are highlighted throughout the gardens. 24 different stations some of which feature plants that once thrived in... More

Some nice trails to walk on through the forested areas, but it would be much nicer to visit when there are flowers blooming.

We took the family there to hang out on a magical evening of entertainment, light show of lanterns and delicious local treats from vendors.

On a windy rainy April day, this greatly exceeded our expectations. The rain forest portion of the trails were outstanding. The "alien" additions, including the windmill palms, seemed to be a natural part of the landscape. The sculptures interspersed within the forest were attractive and very interesting. The photography on a somewhat dark day, was dramatic.

Went on Saturday. Entrance is by donation during the winter hours. We walked to entire property in less than an hour. The art in the forest is odd and out of place. I enjoyed seeing the roosters more than anything. I'm sure that if you visit during the summer it would be better.

I try to visit all Botanical Gardens when I'm in a new area. I'm sure this place would be so awesome in it's proper season .. as far as today is concerned, it was fantastic. Doesn't matter what season you come I recommend this as a stop to explore. We has sun... which made our walk throughout the gardens that... More

We arrived in a deluge of rain that did not stop, neither did we. Quirky is definitely the word for some of the humorous exhibits. We did appreciate seeing the items that were beach combed from the tsunami in Japan that made their way to Tofino. We were welcomed inside for soup and tea when our walk was done. I... More

My husband and I were staying at the hotel and paid a visit to the gardens as part of the complimentary lodging feature over the Christmas-new year holidays. The lights were good, we got to walk around at night and during the day. The night walk was great, good add-ons and light art. The day trip was rather ordinary, nothing... More

Beautiful place and informative. They did a nice job forming a nice and cozy ambiance. If your lucky you might see some bears.
