I had a wonderful experience with Wild Whales Tours last week. They emailed me very clear directions before our tour on how to dress, and to bring lunch. The staff and boat driver were also excellent and very knowledgeable. We saw humpback whales, sea lions, seals, bald eagles... unfortunately no orcas that morning. Overall, a wonderful experience. Whilst it was early May, and I knew that the chances of seeing Orca wasn't as high as in late June or early July. Very easy to reach the departing boat, in Granville Island rather than having to get a ferry etc. The day departed with a safety briefing, suiting up into our big protective suits (very warm) and heading... Maybe we were just lucky, but our Wild Whales Vancouver experience was one of the most fun times I have ever had. We were able to be in the covered boat, which I recommend, and had an incredible 6-hour tour where we got to see the local Orcas, Stellar Sea Lions and two Humpback whales! All of this against the... This was a great tour. We were able to watch a pod of 10-15 orcas, harbour seals, porpoise, some eagles and osprey. The guides and captain were friendly and informative.

This was a highlight for me. Well organised and excellent information about the marine life and the geography. We saw whales and what a privilege that was. this company do as it says on the tin. An outstanding experience. A note for seniors - you get a seniors reduction, definitely a bonus.

Went out with the crew mid May, we travelled a couple of hours outside of Vancouver past the border and it was excellent. Staff were so enthusiastic and passionate about the whales it was great to see, made the experience even better. We managed to see about 25 different whales which was amazing. The tour is well worth the money

My husband and I did the open boat tour during the second week of May. Although the weather wasn't the best, the tour was absolutely amazing! We were so fortunate to have an excellent guide and captain. We saw about 10-12 whales that day, breaching and hunting! We couldn't have asked for a better experience!! I would definitively recommend this... More
