Canada Place is where I had to go to pick up my packet for the Rock N Roll Half-Marathon. However, I am so glad this was the location because of the scenic views. Furthermore, this location is close to great shopping and has amazing restaurants nearby. In my opinion, if you like taking photos, this is a must!

Great space, easy to get to, easy to access by foot or by public transportation. Located right by the water, great views and also has a lot fo options for dining- one of my favorite places is Cactus Club which is outside the main entrance down the street. Really good place to eat.

I was there on October in a cloudy day. The very admirable architecture and design with a very beautiful view of Vancouver makes this place amazing. Some local arts of totem and modern are beautiful. Walking by the water is relaxing.

We had 1.5 days in Vancouver and headed straight to Canada place. 4D experience (flying over Canada and China - it was Chinese NY) was great, really enjoyed it. The surrounding views are fantastic. This place would be even better in summer and with the cruise ships docked.

This is a lovely place for an outside stroll and when a show or exhibit is on, offers many places for display. In addition the restaurants both outside and in are also nice to enjoy. This is our cruise ship dock, convention centre, and hotel.....all in one!

I visited Canada Place for the Gluten Free Expo in January, 2017. I enjoyed it and found it was a great venue. Outside they have the "Canada Trail" which has various cities from the provinces of Canada placed in the side walk along the water. Very nice to see familiar names. I watched sea planes take off while walking here.

A nice place on the harbour to take a walk and experience and photograph views of the North Shore mountains, watch the busy harbour traffic or grab a quick bite and enjoy the sunshine.

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
