Probably more enjoyable than just wandering aimlessly around the city - a big beautiful park easily accessible with great views of the city

If you want to have a walk and have some fresh air this is a good choice. There are some interesting things to see, such as the time capsule, gardening, tec.

The park has a beautiful rose garden, sunken garden with beautiful flowers and plants. After walking around the garden, you can have nice lunch at the Season's in the park overlooking the garden.

When I visit Vancouver, I go to Queen Elizabeth Park at least once. Mostly riding the bike. I enjoy the slight uphill. But when I get to the top, I am always amazed by the very scenic view of Vancouver.

We visited twice with different family members and all of them loved it. Particularly loved the Conservancy where they had live birds throughout the place. Really made the flora come alive with lovely bright birds all over the place. The birds seemed very happy too...More

Is a really nice place to spend an hour. The most important is that you are able to take a picture with the entire downtown and the mountains behind you. The gardens are pretty nice. For some tourist it is a little far, but if...More

Despite it being another wet day we enjoyed lovely views of the city from its highest point here. The quarry gardens were in glorious autumn colours and the botanical gardens with exotic birds and plants were excellent albeit quite small. It's a shame there's no...More

QE Park is not far from downtown. All traffic dependent. If by car, the drive is about 10-15 minutes. 20-25 with traffic. By bus, just about the same.
