It's a cute little arts district, but most things are over priced. Parking is a fortune as are everything in the shops. There is good gelato, as well as nice views.

I cannot suggest parking, as we did not rent a car, but instead walked from our local hotel. Nonetheless, your available time to enjoy Granville Island’s stores and restaurants is ample. Enjoy yourselves!

Any place on the Island will gladly accept almost any form of payment, There is no set rate. The exchange rate will vary from shop to shop. Unless you are aware of the bank rate you may pay more than you need to.
