There is so much going on here. Fresh vegetables and fruit deli style, bread, and lots of stands to buy lunch. When walking the island there are art galleries and artisans. Lots of kitschy souvenirs too.

I would avoid cars in Granville Island. Much easier and less of a headache taking public transport. Granville Island is not built for cars I think that taking the false creek ferry would be a better option.
