Nice clean beach to walk along or to relax on. There are logs places along for a bit of privacy. A few places to eat too. Good views for photos.

A must see when in Vancouver. Walk along the beach path, sit and enjoy the scenery. It's free. Buy a hot dog from a street vendor. Make sure you avoid the bicycle path if you are walking!

One of Many body of water that Vancouver has, it's almost right after Stanley Park. Great picture if you stand in an angle to get everything. Another great family area.

the beach itself was really nice but I wish it was a bit livelier with vendors and food trucks as an example

We had some great food during our time there. We loved the laughing figures, and the cute little bay. Bit of a vibrant area, and definitely worth visiting.

Great view of the bay and the ocean. Windy and frisky in April so if you want to stroll along the bay then bring a jacket and scarf.

A hodgepodge of landscapes, the West End combines
verdant gardens and blocky modern architecture, with
Victorian bits and Edwardian bobs in between. It is a
paradise for takeout food, take-away coffee, and
perhaps incongruously, some of Vancouver's most
languid lines of beachfront. English Bay and Sunset
Beach invite swimmers, strollers, and picnic-lovers to
take in dusk settling over the water, or to jog along
