Lovely walking around. They do have tours but we were at the wrong time so just wandered following the map provided (this was a bit confusing in places). Plants well marked. Think we saw 1 blue heron twice - or may have been 2 in...More

Do not miss this gem of a garden in Vancouver. Truly well designed masterpiece, easily walkable rich experience. Takes only a couple of hours. Nice collection of flowers, shrubs and trees. If you are not driving, you can cab over easily.

The gardens at the Van Dusen are grouped mostly by where the plants came from. There is a Mediterranean garden, a Southern Hemisphere garden, a Japanese garden and so on. But there is also a rose garden, a vegetable garden, and a large lily pond....More

We had family visiting from abroad and they just loved every moment at these beautiful gardens. Well worth the price of admission.

Quite a variety of trees, plants, shrubs. Enough shady areas throughout garden on those sunny & warm days.

We saw plants and trees that we have never seen before. The layout of the botanical garden is very inviting and a beautiful place to spend time as a family or couple. I hope to visit here again.

Over 7,000 types of flowers and trees. It is absolutely stunning. They change out the flowers each season and Christmas. Many unusual varieties. Really inspires you to get started improving your garden. Take a serene stroll through and give your cares away.

The weather is generally nice. This year we have had an unusually cold and rainy spring. There are no covered paths.

While normally I could affirm a yes this winter has been cold, freezing and most of the flowers are hiding terrified of the air.

Not necessarily Each season has its unique look at VanDusen gardens; you will have plenty to see in Summer, Spring and Fall but Winter would be a little too cold for a visit there
