Was there for Mother's Day--so many trees and plants in bloom. A beautiful day in a beautiful garden. There's a 2 for 1 coupon in the Entertainment book making the entrance for adults $5.50--a real bargain!

There was about every plant you could think of that would survive in this climate. Gardens are divided into sections. There is a small waterfall in a remote part of the gardens. There is also a nice maze. You could wander here for hours enjoying...More

It's a little out of the way from downtown Vancouver but worth it. The gardens are lovely. There is something for everyone and every season. If you came to Vancouver to see beautiful gardens and nature, don't leave this one off your list.

VanDusen was an amazing surprise - not too far from the city center but quiet, peaceful, and full of nature. Part of it is built on top of the reservoir and the space is huge. A couple of beautiful lakes, some wooded trails, amazing gardens,...More

In fact the rain added to the atmosphere! The maze was fun, and the whole garden was so beautifully laid out, with the waterfalls, trees and the seasonal planting giving a real feast for the eyes.

The weather is generally nice. This year we have had an unusually cold and rainy spring. There are no covered paths.

Not necessarily Each season has its unique look at VanDusen gardens; you will have plenty to see in Summer, Spring and Fall but Winter would be a little too cold for a visit there
