It seems that Hill’s has become more of a tourist stop than an art gallery. While it has a broad selection of First Nation Art their prices put it more in the affordable souvenir category. Stop in at some of the nearby galleries to see...More

I recently purchased a silver ring from Hill's while visiting their Gastown store...but managed to lose it because it was a little too big. Entirely my own fault, but when I contacted the store about getting a replacement - and having it sent to Australia...More

We bought our Cowichan sweaters here 25 years ago and they are still going strong. The store has not changed much. They still carry a good selection of sweaters, as well as many other First Nations carvings and jewelry. The store assistants are all friendly...More

I did not buy but loved the wood native art. Feeling pretty poor after more than 2 weeks of travel. Don't know where we would put it. Worth checking out! Great variety.

Three stories of native themed NW Canada art culture. Most of it is wood based art and not inexpensive. Many unique items.

I was on a mission to find earrings for my wife. Found what I was looking for and more (which was in front of the store). Once I ventured into the rest of the store, the prices were too much for the art pieces (masks...More

A visit to Gastown is like turning back the clock and
stepping into a bygone era. With the distinction of
being Vancouver's oldest neighborhood, the many
plaques that stud the cobbled streets of Gastown tell
the story of its colorful past, giving Vancouver's
history a more lively presence here than anywhere
else. Having been originally founded around a popular
worker's saloon, it's no wonder that today some of
