The Greenheart Tree Walk follows a suspended route up into the trees of the UBC rain forest. Take the free guided tour as you'll miss tons of neat sights and info if you go by yourself.

I cannot stress how cool this place is. Seriously. I would also highly recommend the Greenhart TreeWalk! It's a little extra, but it's definitely worth it! It was so much fun and exhilarating! It should be its own attraction on TripAdvisor.

An excellent place to get away from the hustle-bustle of Vancouver, the UBC Botanical Garden is a huge plot of land within the University of BC, covered with many native as well as imported plants and trees. An optional cost is the canopy walk among the trees (not for those who suffer from heights or vertigo!). Included in the entrance... More

You still have a couple of days to visit by donation before regular admission prices kick in on March 12. There's not a whole lot to see at this time of year, but the garden is still pleasant to stroll around. I imagine you could easily spend half a day or longer once the weather improves, the garden is in... More

The UBC Botanical garden is a wonderful garden laid out on either side of Marine Drve. The entry sde is am amazing collection of exotic temperate zone plants nestled in a forest of mature douglas fir and western red cedar. It even plays host to a pair of nesting bald eagles. It is one of the few places to witness... More

This is a beautiful botanical garden on the UBC campus. There is a reasonable charge to roam the gardens, which are lush with local flora like ferns and trees that grow only in the rainforest. I had been to UBC years before for a campus tour but didn't have time to see the gardens. I always wanted to go back... More

If you love "hidden gardens" this one is for you. Tucked at the North End of UBC it's not large but it is nice to walk around if you are in the area. Great view of the North Shore Mountains. You'll have to pay for parking and it's not easily accessible by public transit but if you are in the... More

I visited the garden on October. The design of the reception was bright, beautiful, and unique. The fountain was awesome at the beginning. There was some nice carved designed pumpkins Because of Halloween. The trees's leaves has turned to in lovely colors. I saw a coyote and some gooses. Some squares and also statues made of stone and metal have... More

The woodland section is very pretty and interesting, we then went into the underpass to the vegetable and plant section. This looked a little tired, but this may have been because it was the end of the season.

I didn't like the garden: it's big but it seems repetitive, the plants are not well explained and since I went there the day after it rained some paths were muddy. The only great place is the TreeWalk: it is thrilling to walk on those bridges between trees that move a lot for every little step you take and allow... More
