Best way to travel from downtown to Granville Island. Or just go for a ride to see the city from a new perspective!

We had been planning on taking the Aquabus (and did, later in our trip), but False Creek Ferries' boat showed up first when we were waiting on the Yale Town dock. This ferry line has slightly fewer stops than the aquabus, so it was a...More

These are the smallest ferries I’ve been on, and so much fun even for the short trip across the water from Granville Island to the Aquatic Centre (which we did twice). It’s a more interesting way to go that over the bridge, especially if you...More

On the first full day in Vancouver, we made the mistake of thinking that walking over Granville bridge would be easy. It isn't and it's not to be recommended. However, a trip on this charming little ferry service is perfect. It's not cheap, but then...More

Get yourself to and from Granville Island where there is lots going on all the time. This is the easy, no stress way as parking on the island is always a nuisance.

We took the ferry on a rainy morning from near Stanley Park to Granville Island. It runs about every 10 minutes. We also purchased ticket that we could board at Granville to Yale Town. Very convent and our trip was smooth and warm.

A wonderful day trip for us is take the sky train to downtown Vancouver, go for a walk to False Creek, then take one of the False Creek ferries over to Granville Island Market for some shopping. The price of the ferry ride is reasonable...More

This is perfect to visit different points of Vancouver's best shore stops. Consider getting a day pass for maximum enjoyment. Also pay attention to closing times, because in winter they tend to reduce so be careful not to end on the other side of the...More

They do have a 40 minute tour that only costs $11 CAD. It goes to all the stops the Ferry makes on False Creek and returns you to their main dock.
