Great way to spend an afternoon

I loved checking out Stanley Park and the Seawall. It's a beautiful walk and a great way to see how beautiful this city is.

This is an outstanding walk along False Creek with views of the heart of the city and the mountains to the North. There are great stops along the way such as Granville Island with its world class market, shops and restaurants.

Great place to walk, see ocean and forest and beach, and people-watch. Saw lots of people on rollerblades and bicycles despite the chill in the air. Many folks running or pushing strollers.

You've heard people talk about this already no doubt. The rumours are true. It's a great place to be outside.

Get lost in Vancouvers downtown wilderness...a. 1000acre peninsula of forest gardens playing fields beaches the citys Aquarium fine resteraunts tucked away in secluded spots and a by the sea open air swimming pool to boot. The seawall was thr brainchild of a gentleman who started the project on his own before the city kicked. In and hired him. It became... More

Great way to see the city, ocean and a major urban park on an afternoon walk or on a rented bike from ove of the many bike rental shops at the endgame of the park.

The most relaxing stroll in a magical nature walk. You've got to experience here! The trail along the Pacific coast goes from the quaint English bay to the spectacular view of downtown Vancouver in Coal Harbour. If you walk briskly it takes about an hour. I highly recommend to any visitor to Vancouver!

If you visit Vancouver, you must walk the Seawall around Stanley Park or take a rental bicycle readily available or a horse drawn carriage ride or just drive above the Seawall as you go through Stanley Park. The walk is beautiful no matter what the season so just do it, you won't be disappointed

Staying in Stanley Park

Neighbourhood Profile
Stanley Park
Stanley Park is Vancouver's premier spot to get up close and personal with nature and animals. The grassy expanse offers outdoor teahouses and stunning views, beachfront hideaways and splash parks. It is a typical getaway spot for friends and families, especially as it is home to Vancouver's aquarium, and some of its best equestrian outlets.
