I was in Vancouver for over a week so walked the Wall in three sessions taking a couple of hours to half a day for each e.g. stopping at Granville Island to look around took longer. Most of the time it was quiet with the...More

This is it... this is where we want to walk or run every time we're in Vancouver. It is a wonderful break from the hustle-bustle of the city, and so very different from the prairie walks/runs we enjoy in Winnipeg. We highly recommend visiting this...More

This is the second time I have had the opportunity to run along the Vancouver Seawall around Stanley Park. It was raining during our run and I still loved the scenery! If you're a runner or a walker, this is a must do!

It doesn't matter what day, what month or what the weathers doing, put on your walking shoes or hop on a bike. Bring a jacket, take an umbrella if you have to but just do it! You will not be disappointed. There's always something to...More

Lovely views when cycling around the seawall, with lots of places to stop to take photos / admire the excellent views. The bike ride around the seawall is very safe as there is a cycle path and separate pedestrian path. Both are totally away from...More

You can’t visit Vancouver and not take a trip around the seawall. Aside from being an iconic Vancouver attraction, if the weather permits you get great views of the north shore, downtown, and the Lionsgate bridge. The seawall is one of those rare places where...More

Walk the sea wall then explore Stanley Park. Start early to avoid the crowds, or walk in the evening when people are otherwise engaged. If you have limited time in Vancouver, this is a must do.

No, they are the same path, just cyclists have to stay on one side and pedestrians on the other, for safety.

Yes I would agree take a minimum of half a day to cycle round the seawall. You will want to stop and take in a lot of sites, food , ect. If youre there you probably wont want to leave too soon anyway!
