Our Hotel was located in downtown and not far from the Harbour. So but simply walking around and taking our time we discovered some of Vancouver's history and all its interesting buildings, parkes and places of interest.

Vancouver downtown is not big you can complete this area in a day or less. There is one main street where most of the shops are located, we walked through the entire strip and they have all the standard popular stores like Zara, top shop...More

Vancouver's downtown is very picturesque. Beautiful mountains in the background, water in the for ground and lots of unique buildings to look at. So many different areas to explore. We love to wander downtown during the summer months. Gastown steam clock, observation tower, Canada place...More

Veven if Vancouver is a really bif City, it is not that busy, crowded and noisy as others. Located wonderfully sourrounded by the Rockies and the Pacific Ocean, you find lot of things to see there and also really good Food.

LOVE Vancouver. It feels to me like a large town rather than a city. People are courtesy and friendly. Lots to see, do and eat! We only had 2 days before and after a cruise and that just isn't enough time to thoroughly enjoy this...More

We had a great visit for a few days and took in all of the sights. Many different restaurants and interesting little shops throughout the city. More traffic and congestion than expected, but overall a fun place to explore.

Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is
bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their

plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and
corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau
restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping
options. However, located right on the waterfront of

I was there in September and I don't believe Vancouver has much snow. We were told many Canadians retire to that area because of the "warmer" winters. However, Whistler has snow almost all year round. It is about 90 min... More

Vancouver is a "walking" city with great public transit. Whistler is a great little town, but if you only have one day, I would skip it as it's quite a drive there & back. Instead, I would enjoy Stanley, Granville Island... More
