If the route happens to be suitable, it certainly gets you there. The new route connecting downtown to the airport is certainly convenient for tourists. The best part is you can come out right next to the Cruise Ship terminal in downtown.

I have quarterly meetings downtown and used to jump in a grubby $40 cab.... Finally tried the Skytrain ...it is frequent, fast and easy. Now I have a transit card loaded with enough money for frequent fares so it is even easier ! do it -

We thought taking the sky train was going to be a good way to see Vancouver. Most of our ride was underground. No big deal.

Recommend to everyone to take this mode of transportation. No need to drive the busy streets in downtown Vancouver. Well worth purchasing a compass card for easy way to pay.

This light rail system, sky train, is spectacular! Is to figure out and plenty of trains. Can get crowded as people get out of work. Much cleaner than the subway in Manhattan. Day passes were reasonably priced and worked with transfers to buses.
