A simple walk from the centre, the wharf is a lace to eat, book trips or just look at some querky floating homes. It is a bit of a tourist trap but not to be missed. You can get back to the centre by the...More

My family visited this area while staying in Victoria. We took a water taxi from the inner harbor over to the wharf (which was a pleasant ride). The wharf area is small, but they have lots of different styles of food being served out of...More

This area of Victoria is interesting and worth the walk from the harbour. Fisherman's wharf is a small area with boardwalks and houseboats. We investigated Whale watching from here but thought it was expensive compared to the harbour area. Its a pretty area and a...More

Walked down to the wharf from downtown Victoria via a pathway that has a name I cannot remember. The wharf has a handful of restaurants to grab a bite to eat. There are shaded and sunny tables. Also, a pottery shop and whale watching tours....More

Located just a few very easy walkable short blocks north of the Parliament Buildings and the inner harbour. Wheelchair accessible, but there is a bit of a steep ramp down and back up to the street. A few places to choose from to eat, fish...More

Take the water taxi or if you are able, walk the the edge of the bay to Fisherman's wharf. There are many table and several choices for lunch. Sit near the delightful houseboats ( or float houses) and look out on the harbor.

The wharf is a fun spot with some quirky little spots to eat. The oysters are great. Add to this a small community of floating houses and a small fishing fleet and you have the foundation of something kind of cool. A very easy walk...More

It's about a 5 block walk. All flat but a good 15 minutes. Might be too far for your Mom although there are many benches to stop and rest in between or you can take a Kabuki cab ( bicycle with trailer)

Some people live at Fisherman's Wharf. So it does not close. The businesses are open throughout the summer.
