I would definitely recommend Whistler Blackcomb for a ski vacation whether with kids, friends, as a couple or on your own. The resort is large with lots of variety in skill level for skiers and snowboarders. The village has shopping and restaurants for all different tastes. The drive from Vancouver is beautiful on the scenic sea to sky highway. I... More

I've skied all over the world and this is now my go to ski resort. The service everyone is incredibly friendly (mostly aussies), the restaurants are excellent and the accommodation good and varied but it is the skiing itself which is outstanding. Apparently this week it hasn't been so good after some recent rain and it still incredible. The pistes... More

Skied 4 days between Blackcomb and Whistler. LOVED the Blackcomb side. Only downfall was icy conditions on both sides. (Obviously can't control MotherNature...but it does makes tough skiing when it's icy) Blackcomb'd 7th Heaven is just that...heaven...especially if there is fresh powder. Can get crazy busy but plenty of other areas to explore if it is too crowded. Friendly staff... More

Whistler is without doubt the best skiing I've ever done. The resort is awesome, with large, varied skiing and exceptional views. The staff are friendly and the snow is awesome.

the mountain and the atmposhere on the mountain make up for bad weather days when they did arrive, and it didn't take much of a bite out of our daily fun. We also hit some great weather days and the skiing was among the best, if not the best, fun we'd had for an entire family vacation in a long... More

I've been to whistler 7 times now and love it. There is so much to ski here you can't get bored. It has skiing for every level. Only issue is it's just getting too busy.

This is my second ski trip to Whistler and both times in Dec/Jan. This year the snow was fantastic on both mountains (total depth to 580cm by mid Jan). Whistler is the most popular, and therefore crowded mountain, especially on week-ends when the Vancouver mob descend. Once I realised this, I either made sure I was in queue by 8am,... More

This is the best place on earth. There is skiing, tubing, scenic gondolas, a great village, etc. Put this at the top of your bucket list. Great instructors for snow sports, beginner through expert terrain on the mountains.
