The GPS had us going in circles as it took us down the road just past the turn off for this waterfall. Once we found the right spot, we parked and just a few steps away there it was...Alexander Falls.

Alexander Falls is unexpectedly tall although the water flow was quite subdued in October. It must be spectacular when the snows are melting. Only a short drive outside Whistler with a large car park Only a stroll across the carpark to the best viewing point.

Was going to the Olymplc park but it was closed! Saw the sign for the fall and went to take a look. Just lovely and the fact you don't have to walk to them is a bonus for the less able. If you have a...More

Arrived here around 3:15 today with beautiful sunny weather. The falls were pretty but the sun was at the wrong angle for the rainbow to form as seen in some of the other pictures from here. If you like viewing water falls this one is...More

This is another beautiful waterfall before you get to Whistler. It is easy to get to and you can basically drive right up to the viewing platform. Don't miss these beautiful falls.

Loved the drive to get here. The Falls were beautiful and not crowded with plenty of parking. Wish there was a trail to the base.

Read a lot about these falls and decided to check them out on the way to Vancouver from whistler. They are located some 20 mins drive from the main highway. The parking lot was totally empty when we reached there. The falls are strictly ok,...More

There is no access to the falls, plus it is also in bear country and you have to keep at least 100 metres from the bears. Plus there is no way down to the river as it too high. Hope this answers your question

If I remember correctly There is a sign indicating Alexander Falls. It will be on your left hand side, it's just a sloping gravel road leading to a small parking lot and a viewing platform for the Falls. The previous two... More
