I love the Forks national historic site. 100% recommended. It is absolutely amazing whether in freezing winter or in hot summer. Do not forget to visit The Forks market as well. It is a historical market with lots of things to buy and to enjoy.

The forks is a place you can spend hours and be overjoyed that you did. The market is always a joy to explore, the many restaurants in the area make it easy to grab a bite to eat, and keep on exploring. make sure to enjoy the riverwalk when you get the chance, and the River Trail for ice skating... It is a place to bring family and kids if you are in Winnipeg, they always have activities going on. The Theater for young kids is on the property and the Human Rights Museum and Children's Museum. It just has everything Restaurants, which arent all the best of choices but lots nearby. They have a Market style shopping boutique, etc,... More
