It's always a neat place to go. The Plug In Gallery in the Buhler Centre is a tiny gallery but has some interesting and provocative exhibitions. If you are taking in the Winnipeg Art Gallery next door, drop in; it's free, and be surprised. A small library is also attached to the gallery.

A very modern art gallery. The exhibitions are usually very interesting and provocative, they usually have openings with interesting people and wonderful wine.

The Plug-in is located near the Winnipeg Art Gallery and Stella's Restaurant. The displays are always great. Love it!

Close to the Winnipeg Art Gallery this smaller version provides a great space to show more contemporary art. If you are in to modernism using televisions or structural form check out this gallery. Make sure you visit the roof patio to see Dan Graham's Performance Cafe with perferated sides. Fun !

The Plug In Institute of Contemporary Art is located in the middle of Winnipeg's downtown in the Buhler Centre and shares space with the University of Winnipeg and Stella's Cafe. It's in an elegant modern building with a white exterior that's livened up by beautiful colors in the interior. It has changing exhibitions and an interesting bookstore. There is never... More

Plug In Institute for Contemporary Art is in a beautiful new building on Portage Ave. right near the Winnipeg Art Gallery, so if you're in the area you should see both of these places. Plug In is not huge, but the gallery space is well thought out and the exhibits are excellent. I just saw the first installment of the... More
