Picaroons award-winning traditional ales are made with the finest quality malted barley imported from England and Germany. Whole hops are imported from England, New Zealand and the west coast of North America. Plus they use a signature Ringwood Yeast and New Brunswick's deep well water. Picaroons is New Brunswick's first new generation micro-brewer. As part of the Atlantic ÉCONOMUSÉE Network, visitors can tour the 6000 sq. ft. brewery and talk with the brew master.

Exciting and New

I visited for the very first time, the Picaroons Roundhouse recently for lunch. We also gathered information about the Tour and Tasting experience they are offering.

Being very very familiar with Picaroons beer (i'm quite sure my blood type is best bitter) we decided to try out the Roundhouse for the first time. The building is really nice and the view of the river is great, the location is convenient with lots of parking. What can I say about the beer? Nothing - it has always... More

The Roundhouse succeeds completely in its mission. A bright, cheerful location with the homey atmosphere of your local cafe. The friendliest, happiest people I have ever met served us the tastiest local foods. From soup to dessert the flavours were lovely and fresh and delightfully spiced. My mate said his beer was perfect and the view was grand. I can't... More

This place is a real gem. Local food with an amazing view of the St. John River. Simple menu but have great options for meat-lovers and vegans and even gluten-free options.

Now offering food in addition to great beer, this is a nice spot to visit. Overlooks the walking bridge and a cross the river to downtown Fredericton. Nice food options including many local ingredients. We had the ploughman and a grilled cheese, both which were fresh, different and featured local ingredients. Overall a great spot to enjoy a beer and... More

After a long wait, Picaroons new taproom at the Roundhouse opened last week. It's a great place to go for a pint overlooking the river. Light meals (sandwiches) and Picaroons swag are available as well. The design is such a good fit with the surroundings that it looks as though it's been there forever.

We showed up 30 minutes before close and the guys working were fantastic. They let us try so many delicious beers. Some were better than others but overall fantastic experience. Personally Yippie IPA was our favourite.

So firstly, I want to point out to everyone who reads this...the address listed here for Picaroons Brewing Co. is 55 Melissa St. This is NOT correct! My husband and I drove here...it is a back road with an old factory building which may or may not still be used for something to do with the Brewery. The actual address... More

Can't wait to visit the newshop/facility. It will be funny to see people with growlers on the walking bridge!

Great little brewery in Fredericton. Went there to grab a growler fill of the Melon Head, and it was a really nice beer! I've had a few others by them as well, and I've never been let down. They're all delicious. Now stop reading this and go get some beer, mang.
