We are currently renovating part of our existing building to provide an enhanced visitor experience, as well as in preparation for joining the new pavilion under construction to the existing facility. Because of the central location of this work, and because of the nature of the projects involved, the building will be temporarily closed to visitors from January 18, 2016, until May, 2016. We regret the inconvenience to visitors, and look forward to welcoming you into our renovated space in May. The Beaverbrook Art Gallery, a gift to the people of New Brunswick from Lord Beaverbrook (Sir Max Aitken), features works by Canadian and British artists and a unique sample of works from international artists. The Gallery exhibits an exciting mix of works from its own collection as well as works and exhibitions on loan from other institutions.

A diverse and impressive display of Canadian and foreign artists. We were disappointed that the Dali paintings were not yet back on display. I look forward to seeing on my next visit.

I've gone twice this year and there's always something to discover. Lord Beaverbrook had quite the collection and we are lucky. Art is subjective and even if you don't think it's for you, you should go. You will find pieces you love and some you...More

This was our third visit to the Gallery. Unfortunately, the large 'Dali' in the foyer has been crated for awhile. Instead, there is an interesting Indigenous replacement in that foyer. ( I did not appreciate the 'Oka Warrior' small painting nearby. To me it was...More

A few gems of major painters (Turner, Cranach, Tissot, Matisse, Boudin...) make it worth to visit the museum in spite of an otherwise quite local collection of second or third rank artists

The Beaverbrook Art Gallery has interesting exhibitions and it is even expanding its floorspace later this year. Worth a visit.

Wow! Pieces by some big names in art history: Delacroix, Turner, Krieghoff. The Dali painting, Santiago El Grande, is unbelievable!

Street parking and a close parkade are easy to use and there is more parking and parkades close by down the steeet further into town. So fun to walk by all the little shops near by too
