This is not really a phenomena worth taking extra time to visit. If you are looking for something to do then go the info centre for the falls. The young people there will be very informative. But this not that special.

You can watch the tide go in and out here. As the name implies, due to the large tides in the Bay of Fundy, the "falls" change direction when the tide changes direction. Even for the short time we were here, it was intriguing to...More

We had a great time visiting the falls and seeing the zip liners. The falls and Bay are a true wonder.

Go twice if possible to see the waters go each way. This is not a long distance from from the port. We took a tour with Roy and then went to St. Martins.

This was a stop on our shore excursion from our Cruise it is a very interesting and unique place and our guide was very full of fun facts about this natural wonder and the history of the area around it.

We visited here two times. Once at high tide and once at almost low tide. You almost have to go two times to see what they mean by reversing falls. It is easy to get to and does not take long but a must see....More

Worth seeing, for sure! Won't take too long out of your day and is so close to the city. It won't be the most exciting thing in your trip, I'm sure, but you will not have seen this before, that's for sure. Go at low...More

If you are going to be in Saint John, this is well worth stopping by. We saw the Rapids just after high tide, and these are really interesting to watch as the water forms whirlpools and rushes over the rocks. There is a viewing platform,...More

I thought Hopewell rocks was the better of the two. Reversing falls is cool, but to see it at its best you have to time it completely correct. Hopewell rocks are similar with having to look at the time, but it has a lot... More
