When I lived in Newfoundland, I was 40. When I lived in Newfoundland, I felt 25. When I visited George Street, I felt 70. That place is exhausting. But it's cool.

A bunch of pubs and clubs all in a row! We checked out a few places on Saturday night. Live entertainment everywhere. Saw an awesome local band at the Blues Club. Busy, busy street, but the road is closed off to cars, so you can...More

This is a full blown party street with live music blaring from every pub every night of the week. If your plan is to go for one drink and call it an early night, don’t go here. Time doesn’t exist on George St and next...More

If you're looking for a night on the town, George Street offers many different types of bars. Lots of very good restaurants within easy walking distance. We tend to leave around midnight to avoid any riffraff. We personally think that the security should be up...More

Its the heart of the entertainment downtown St. John's. Toe tapping music awaits you. The choice of establishments varies, its hard just to pick one or two or three actually.

I didn't find George st. all that impressive. I guess if you're in St. John's you should take a walk down the street. Although, I would take water Street restaurants over George St. Bars.
