Whatever your taste is in music, you'll find it in a bar on George! Also lots of choice in eats, drinks, screech-ins. Known for hosting Great acts at the George St. Festival and Canada Day concerts.

If all your favourite trips are built around museums, this may not be for you. But for anyone else who like to let their hair down and have a blast, you should check it out. Yes, you'll be surrounded by intoxicated people. (You should probably be one.) Yes, you'll be squeezed in. Yes, it'll push your limits if you're an... More

Kiss a cod, sample beer at as many pubs as you can stand, and eat like a King or Queen dining on authentic East Coast fare or regular old steak. There is literally any experience from A to Z (alcohol to a Z word that describes crazy fun times) led by some of the friendliest people on the planet, right... More

An absolute must see. If you're ever in St John's Newfoundland no matter what the weather or time of year you have to do some pub/restaurant hopping on Goerge Street. I really can't stress this is a must.

We usually don't bother going to George Street too much unless some event is going on or we have friends along that we're getting screeched in. It seems a lot of the reviews are being awfully hard on it though, expecting it to be something it's not. George Street itself is basically just bars and clubs, plain and simple. If... More

This is a place with many bars and pubs, most on one street in North America. It's a great place to visit if from away or a regular weekend place to visit if local. Lots of great places to dance and drink with friends.
