The park has a river flowing through it and has a great view. It is just a short walk, about 30 minutes, to the waterfall. The trail is not too difficult to walk but may be a bit challenging for old folks.

Stunningly beautiful trail with so many incredible photo spots. We came in March and it was really strange to see the falls frozen over but to be able to hear the thawing water gushing underneath. Very few other people there which made for a lovely...More

It's so refreshing to find a beautifully maintained snow covered trail leading you to the frozen waterfall at the end of it. The billowing fluffy snow was so beautiful along our hike to see.

Stopped there on my first day as a tourist to Yellowknife and with it being mid-summer, I found Hidden Lake to have beautiful views and the water was amazing. Several families were either picnicking or boating.

Never found the "frozen falls", but fabulous hike. Well marked trail. Almost missed this one because it's a bit of a drive out of Yellowknife. Definitely worth the time. Suggestion... don't go with people who like to shake snow out of trees on your head.

We wanted a relaxed trip and we got it! Beautiful paddle in and short easy portages. We camped on an island to get away from some bugs and it was great. Just beware of the terns and seagulls and give them LOTS of space if...More

It's not hidden in the sense that you can't see it from the road, but getting up to the Ingraham Trail in the first place is a triumph ... if you go to Yellowknife and DON'T do the Ingraham Trail, we have to wonder why??...More
