I was totally captivated by the work of Debra Kuzyk, I wanted to buy everything but of course air travel weight limits do not allow. Therefore, I settled for two beautiful tiles with a sea theme a shrimp and a octopus. There was a lovely queen bee doll in the studio which I would have brought but my partner said... More

Due to travelling in late fall, we contacted Deb Kuzyk and Ray Mackie in advance of our plan to be in Annapolis Royal. They graciously opened the studio so that we could view their beautiful creations. To our delight, Deb and Ray also toured us through their potting and painting areas, including a demonstration along the way. We left with... More

We've been dropping by the Lucky Rabbit for some years now, and have always enjoyed our visits. We were invited to visit her studio, which was great. Her work is amazing and colourful; I'm surprised that it's not as well known as it should. A must-stop spot!

This is a must see pottery/gallery. The owners are delightful but the fantastical images and vivid colours fill my soul with joy - I know that sounds corny, but honestly, I dare you to walk through their shop and feel gloomy! I own several pieces but even if I could only "visit" these unique yet practical works of art while... More

While strolling the eclectic Saturday morning Farmers Market, I lucked into the Lucky Rabbit, recommended by a friend who lives in Annapolis Royal. What, for me, would have been a quick duck in, turned into an extended chat with co-owner, Deb. Her display was full of visually stunning pieces, with vibrant colors and designs. Husband Ray's pottery features glazes that... More

I have never been a big fan of most of the contemporary ceramic pieces that I see. My area of study was Painting (BFA,MFA) so, it's possible that I wasn't looking very hard. The first time I walked into the Lucky Rabbit I was actually startled by the intensity of my reaction to the work. I went nuts. I could... More

I try to make Lucky Rabbit Pottery a destination at least once a year, as I am smitten with their wonderful, whimsical pottery.Lovely bowls, teapots, vases, etc colorfully glazed with nature themes-you may find a chickadee perched on a butter dish,or a sweet little mouse curled up to be a handle for your teapot lid. This is a family-run studio ,and the owners are... More
