Visited while there was restoration on the main building which was a bit disappointing. The grounds were very nice and views were lovely. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We strolled into this location and had an opportunity to learn some early Canadian history. The staff were able to provide great details about this historic spot. As well we spent an hour is so walking about.

If you only want to walk on the site, with a leash, I think you can. But if you want a guide you better with no dog.
