If you are doing the Cabot Trail you must take the drive to Meat Cove. If you don't you are missing the Northern most part of NS. There are cute little cabins and campground there in a setting that will not disappoint!

Don't let the name of this place keep you from coming. "Meat Cove" didn't sound like an appealing place to visit, but wow, were we amazed. We did 2 hikes and both were breathtaking. The first one, Grassy Point Trail, literally as it was a...More

Great spot with a great campsite, waterfront views, excellent sunsets. A bit of a drive but well worth it!

We drove north of Cabot Trail on to Meat Cove on a gravel road. Hoped to see moose but only saw what they left behind! Beautiful view from northernmost tip of Nova Scotia.

We'd heard that the six-mile road to Meat Cove was sketchy, but it was in good repair and didn't present problems for our Class B van. The road is mostly gravel, but seemed to have been recently paved on some of the steeper sections. The...More

Weren't sure about taking the extra time to go to Meat Cove, some said it was worth it others said don't bother. We took the extra time to drive to the tip on a curvy road. When we came out at Meat Cove the view...More
