Membertou is quaint with a heritage Museum and the traffic signs were in Mi'kmaq and English. We stayed at the Hampton Inn which was newly renovated and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Good displays inside and teepees outside. Nice gift shop with local aboriginal handy work. Good value. Great guy in the gift shop. Very informative.
