This is a beautiful crescent shaped beach on the Bay of Fundy in Sandy Cove Digby County. A great place to sit and read a book, beachcomber or dip your your toes into the bay! There are no bathrooms here or other amenities but a great spot for a picnic or bonfire in the evening.

My husband, 13, 11 & 10 year old and I were excited to go to our first sandy beach on the east coast and were not pleasantly surprised. Maybe we hit a bad day or a bad time of the day but this place was a real disappointment. The place stunk badly of fish. I know it's salt water and... More

This is not a beach to swim in as it is salt water and cool. A wharf where fishing boats tie up. A nice walking beach and breathtaking view.

This was the highlight of our day, we had higher expectations for a drive along Digby Neck. No birds, no whales, no water to see....don't know why it is advertised like it is. Sandy Cove was the one gem in the entire 49 k trek.

Sandy cove is part of Digby neck's beauty. Situated in the middle of the neck between Digby and east ferry it is one among many other scenic areas lodged along the coast. Digby neck has small harbours and beaches hatched in between cliffs and rugged coast lines along the bay of fundy and st-Mary's bay. Start your day with a... More

Nice beach but the important thing to do is arrive at sunrise or sunset. Views are remarkable. The air is so fresh and clean.

There is an old concrete wharf, which protects most of the cove -- making it perfect for swimming. The beach is surprisingly large for a sandy beach in Nova Scotia.

We stopped off here on the way to Brier Island - nice place to get pretty pics and shells, but that's about it, although there was nobody there so we had it to ourselves.

This is a beautiful and amazing beach. The Bay of Fundy water is cold but if you catch it as the tide is coming in, the sandbars warm it on the way. If you are lucky, you will see a whale or two off the cove. Have a weiner raost on the beach and stay for the spectacular sunset.
