I painted a small bowl which came to $30... The price seems high considering it was just a generic, unpainted white bowl that was probably made in China. When I went to pick it up it was chipped on the bottom. We were in a rush so I didn't get to speak to an employee about it, but it was... More

There aren't a lot of places to go with two underage teenagers in Halifax on a Saturday night, especially if they can't agree on a movie! So, we decided to go to the Clay Cafe for some creative fun, and this place did not disappoint. It's a funky little spot with old records playing (and for sale), while you create... More

This place has a mix of young children and university students because of it's location. It's great that it's open late often and is a reasonably priced way to spend a relaxing afternoon! I've been here a couple times now.

Super place to spend the day with older kids. Coffee is superb. Location is easy. Lots of projects to choose from. The Clay Cafe also does birthday parties! For more information, check the Clay Cafe listing on Family Fun Halifax.com.

I went to Clay Café with my daughter and a friend. We all painted our pottery and relaxed. Had a lovely visit and really enjoyed creating our masterpieces! I will definitely be going again!

What a neat experience the Clay Café is. We went for a child's birthday party and were pleased with the variety of options the kids could choose to paint. I am excited to go back for an adult painting session. :)

New to the Halifax area, I decided to bring my sister while she was on a visit. The staff was great at explaining everything and they were efficient, ready to answer any questions. What I find interesting is that there were just as many adults as there were children! It's a fun experience and great to just relax and talk... More

Since moving to Halifax, my fiancé and I have gone to the clay cafe several times. You simply pay for the pottery item you want to paint and that's it! All the paint supplies are included and you can come back several times to complete you project. After the pottery pieces are fired in the kiln they turn out so... More
