We loved our visit. Staff are EXTREMELY friendly & knowledgeable. We were asked if we would like to check our coats and we quickly said no. Some friendly advice, check your coats!!! It is very warm and humid inside. The butterflies were everywhere and oh so pretty. There are a few benches that you can just sit and enjoy the... More

Greetings onebzylady, Thank you so much for taking the time to share your kind words! The Conservatory is such a fantastic reprieve from the cold weather outside - we definitely recommend dressing in layers and of course our coatroom is there for guests to hang up coats, scarves, and other winter accessories that you certainly won't need for your visit.... Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory is a beautiful butterfly sanctuary with gorgeous indoor gardens complete with waterfall and ponds, filled with all kinds of butterflies. For a single visitor, family, couples, anyone - even babes-in-arms are enchanted. The museum section, though not of living specimens, is also fascinating. Can be enjoyed just for the exotic beauty or for a learning experience. My... More

Love this place. Find it very relaxing and calming. Anyone with kids they are always fascinated. There are lots of butterflies around a little different every time we go . Easy to move maneuver even with a mobility challenge. Butterflies always seem to land on my husband. Also very educational. Recently started to take the Access 2 card.

We spend two hours looking at the butterflies and birds. My granddaughter is three and she was enthralled. The staff are very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. We stayed and had lunch in the Chyrsalis Cafe which was fun too. They have a good kids menu. Overall it was a great experience. I have no hesitation recommending it.

A very enjoyable and even educational day out, try to visit on a sunny day, the light encourages the insects to take to the air and makes the experience all the more enjoyable. Interesting for adults, and a blast if you have small kids with you, worth an hour or two.

We arrived at the time of opening. There were no crowds which allowed the children (all under 10) free access. The staff were very exiting to explain the various areas.
