Nice beach

Nice beach with pretty views. It was October for our visit so now swimming. Took some nice pictures, everything around was closed for the season.

What a gorgeous area. A nice drive down (roads narrow towards the beach) and plenty of parking. Stop at Tim Horton's and grab a coffee (or whichever Cafe suits you) and then just enjoy the views. You have Thunder Bay amd Albino Bay either side of the carpark and the historic side of seeing that ships went down in the... More

Maybe if you get there there 6:00 AM on a weekday this place would be a good walk along the water. During prime times days and weeks beach security checks all your bags (like at a rock concert) for who knows what. Wall to wall people and screaming/squealing /crying kids. NOT ROMANTIC, NOT EVEN FOR SUNSETS! But hey, the drifting... More

Whether you want a week long summer vacation spot or a winter stroll on the beach, Crystal Beach is the place! There are plenty of businesses available to make your stay fun and comfortable, all without feeling overly commercialized. Watching the sunset from the boat launch is not to be missed. Water sports enthusiasts, photogs, beach babies- all will enjoy... More

I enjoy boating the calm waters of Crystal Beach. In the summer the water is warm and clear, you can snorkel around the point and see the bass. I enjoy parking by the bay club and swimming and playing with the family in the shallow warm water. Some weekends you can enjoy their live music.

Anytime you can go to the beach or the shore is a great time for a picnic. Fun family outing in the city.

Crystal beach, the beach and the town is a must visit. Beautiful place to swim. It can get packed on the public beach as a good stretch on either side is private. You can still walk along the private beach near the water but you can't camp out there. There is a food vendor right at the beach which is... More

Since so many visitors get lost trying to find the big sandy beach in Crystal Beach with ample parking, here, finally, is the SECRET! Before you go: locate the intersection of "Erie Road" and "Eastwood Ave," and print out directions or input this intersection into your GPS. It gets confusing to visitors for several reasons: Erie Road is off the... More

A very clean and tidy Lakefront beach, sadly missing the fun fair and old wooden roller coaster that, I'm guessing, went years ago. Lots of expensive beachfront properties but this doesn't affectthe beach. Enjoy walking along the sand and watch the sun go down. It does look better than the last time I was here, some 15 years ago.

It was my first time visiting this beach this past summer and I absolutely loved it. The water was clean, the sand beneath my feet felt clean and the entire experience was absolutely relaxing. The $10 parking fee was a fair deal for the entire day. This "entrance" fee does seem to make the beach a little safer because of... More
