Good time to visit is when it's all decorated for Christmas. They do a good job and it's very interesting. Lots of local and General Canadian history to be learned from the well informed guides.

This is place I have visited time and time again. My grown children continue to love this tour. I always learn something new about the early history of Hamilton when visiting. The grounds are lovely and the museum is hosted by staff in period costumes.
