Less than a week before visiting, I read about the ghost of Ambrose Small, who supposedly haunts the Grand Theatre. When I was offered tickets to see 'The Colony of Unrequited Dreams', it seemed fate had intervened. While I did not glimpse Mr Small in the wings, I did have the pleasure of seeing his beloved Proscenium Arch. I couldn't... More

Went with friends this pass weekend. Show was amazing. About the Theatre. Seems like every seat is a good seat. Sound is excellent from our balcony seats. Comfy chairs but friendly. They do allow drinks into theatre which I do find odd. Some people in front of us opened cans during the show. Rather inconsiderate I may add. Charming place.

Go to the theatre of course! Great choice. Wonderful, cozy, relaxed atmosphere. I bought the "cheap seats" but there is not a bad spot in the place. Although I was seated in the orchestra on the far right my sight lines were always clear. And unlike the larger theatres the line-up for the washrooms at the intermission was not lengthy.... More

I have been to this place a few times now. Staff are very nice and helpful. The different types of show they put on are amazing. I was just there last weekend to see Lion in Winter and I enjoyed the play. I will be going back again to see another show or two this year. I really enjoyed my... More

The inside of this theater is beautiful. Painting on the ceiling. It is small so all seats offer good views. Good shows. Always a pleasure to go there.

Kudos to all the cast of Wizard of Oz as the holiday show this year. The volunteers were welcoming and helpful and we truly enjoyed our evening. Shout out to Wicked Witch/ Miss Gulch who stayed in character despite fighting for a voice! Loved her. Scarecrow & Lion were exceptional too. Toto played a great part, although it was pretty... What a fabulous performance. The actors playing Buddy Holly and the Crickets did a wonderful show-the best I've ever seen at the Grand. Music was authentic and the story well written. The theater presents some good musicals each year but this the best we've seen.

Visited the Grand Theatre this past weekend and saw a fantastic performance of Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story starring Zachary Stevenson. Stevenson was impeccable as Buddy and allowed a guy like me, in his 30'sm to be transported back to see what living that era was like. The Grand Theatre was very beautiful, and quite intimate which I like. The... More

The Grand Theatre is a wonderful, historically beautiful building in the heart of London, ON It is an intimate setting in which to view amazing plays and talented musicians. The staff are friendly and helpful. There are many restaurants nearby to eat before and after your visit. I would highly recommend taking in a play or musical performance at 'The... More
