I live in the area and visit Lake Aquitaine almost daily. There's a huge multi-use trail which is ideal for walking, jogging, bikes, in-line skates, strollers & wheelchairs. There is also a fishing dock and outdoor fitness stations around the lake. It is popular year-round. Beautiful scenery and lots to do, including a large park, soccer fields and sprinkler pads... Hi everyone. Christmas Bird Count was on Sat. Dec. 17th and I counted birds at Lake Aquitaine, Lake Wabukayne and Plowman's Park. Have been living here in Meadowvale since 1994 (and in Mississauga since 1989). Lots of birds and squirrels in the neighbourhood. :) The new Meadowvale Community Centre is now open - beautiful, large and lots of glass.

An awesome park, man made lake for fishing, new renovated Community Centre with basketball court, sprinkler pad, outdoor park and soccer field for kids to play, awesome trails to walk around the lake, different waterfowl and birds to see.

Only a small park, but very nice to walk around the "Lake". . Albeit small it is still a big enough expanse of water to be called a lake. No swimming of course, but people do fish in it. Small park for the little kids, and several excercise machines around the park to test adult skills. A very well used... More

What a great place to take your grandkids or just for a walk in the park with your dogs! You can basically walk around the lake. It's about a 2-3 kilometre walk...just about right for a brisk walk. There is a nice playground along the way as well and lots of grey and black squirrels.

It's no less and certainly no more than a local park surrounded by high rise buildings and a big pond, not a "lake". Disappointing.

Clean park, great for walking, practice fishing and families with small children love this place. Fall and Winter make this place great for picture taking and tobogganing.

Just sit by the lake and watch kids catching fish or just walk to a secluded spot and see the water lily's sway in the water. Kid love the gym's so if you like quiet just walk away to a secluded part or just lie down on the grass.

Came here for a walk with a friend and we had fun. Good place for fun pictures. There were a lot of geese and birds which means all their poo was lying around (especially the dock area). The water was a bit grungy by the shores because of the poo but other than that it was a real nice walk... More
