The best way to get up and down the hill if you don't have time to walk. The day pass is the best way to go. Then you can go up and down as much as you want. Beautiful views of the falls.

I found out about the Falls Incline Railway on TripAdvisor, but didn’t really put too much thought into it. I’m a New Yorker – we walk everywhere. For me, taking a little railway that goes up and down between the hotel strip and the Falls...More

Cute little ride to get down to the falls from our hotel. $11 for 2 people. Now we can say that we did it.

Like every else in North America it's impossible to walk anywhere and you then have to pay to get from A to B. We visited in Febuary and the snow was not cleared from the sidewalks therefor we had to take the incline. Should be...More

Easy way to get up and down from the Marriott and a few other hotels in the area. Get a pass that lasts for two days and ride the bus around town. It's a useful tool, but like a city bus, not something you should...More

After walking up and down the various riverfront streets, you can take a break and a quick ride up or down the escarpment. But be prepared to pay a pretty penny- not a cheap commuter ride but a novelty tourist attraction worth a trip-once.

We used this and it was so nice. After being out in the cold all day, getting a life to the top was great and the seats are on heaters so its nice and toasty warm when you sit. Cheap price for round trip. Not...More

We stayed at the Embassy Suites. The Incline Railway was the fastest way down to the Horseshoe Falls. The only other way to go walking, was on the other side of the casino. Price was ok $2.75 one way or $5.50 return. We ended up...More

Easy and convenient way to get to the falls. Walking distance from most hotels. This service used to be offered for free but there are now fees charged for usage. I guess this makes sense considering the increase of usage and the new welcome center...More

It is free parking at the Falls. The incline is just a shot cut to go to hotels and casinos up the hill. I will say using the incline is just a novelty activity.
