Pillitteri Estates Winery proudly continues a family tradition of viticulture and winemaking excellence. For Gary Pillitteri, the opening of Pillitteri Estates Winery in June of 1993 was the culmination of a lifetime dream. Today the Pillitteri family continues his dream and tradition of quality, having received over 600 wine awards from around the world. The family’s winemaking philosophy is quite simple: “To produce the finest wines possible from the highest quality Niagara Peninsula grapes.” The strategy, however, is much more complex. Each vineyard and wine is treated individually since each has its own ‘personality’ that must be expressed. “Our goal is to produce consistent, quality wine for our consumers: rich, full-bodied reds; fragrant and lively whites; and luscious Icewines, all in a variety of styles to suit every palate.”

Take your time and sample all the different wines that are available. Their Ice Wine is excellent and they teach you a lot about wine and pairings. Also, a lot of fun!

We were here on a bus tour which was a total waste of time. Our wine advisor had a cold and was hacking and coughing the whole time which really put us off. Not a big fan of ice wine so we were not impressed...More

Really great wines! Staff took their time explaining their wines, history, awards, etc. and really engaged with our group. The best experience out of all wineries we visited that day.

Buses galore and inexpensive wine. I thought that was why there were crowds but I really liked a $13 bottle of wine they had. The price does not tell about the wine. Of course I bought a bottle. It also helps that they have many...More
