I enjoyed all the costumed docents, as they really knew their history and they also had good senses of humor. Sure wish I could metal detect there, hahaha! (Yeah, I know I can't). Loved the musket firing demo -- well done! As a paranormal investigator...More

It was a fun way to spend an afternoon. Once was enough, however, as it is not something that changes significantly over time

a very hot day but witnessing the musket firing demonstration was very good and the operative certainly seemed to know his stuff. weld worth a visit, especially in 2017 as it's Canada 150 and entry is free!!!

The entrance to park was free as had free park pass celebrating Canada's 150 but parking was $6. The Fort itself is okay . We enjoyed the walk outside the park more. It is part of the Bruce Trail which is over 400km.

Our family stopped by to learn a bit more about the War of 1812 while on vacation in the northern Lake Erie/Niagara region. For me, it's always interesting to see in person the places and location of historical events and hope it helps my kids...More

It was interesting to learn about the war from the other perspective as we are Americans. You can tour it in an hour. They had people displaying musket shooting and others who could answer questions.

This is a nice fort, small, but gives you a taste of history of the region. Just walking around it could be a nice activity.

Enjoyed your post about this Fort. Do you happen to recall how much the admission price was per person? We are 2 of us both over 65 yrs. old. Thanks!

It was free due to the Canada 150 passes. Parking was not being enforced at the time we visited so it was free. We spent two hours there and it was a great visit. Cheers
Is it worth the drive from Niagra Falls if it's going to be dark soon and we don't have much time?
