Nice lakefront panorama. Fort George, Toronto on the horizon. Great photo opportunities. Adjacent parkland also adds to the setting.

Very nice Gazebo with a waterfront view. We went here last week 7/7/2022 and all the picnic tables and the gazebo was full. If you want to picnic bring a blanket just in case. There is street parking and a parking lot at this site. ALL are pay to park/meters. There are some enclosed bathrooms in the parking lot as well. Wouldn't spend too much time here. Not much to see unless you are eating. Very clean and well kept

It was a prefect place to have a picnic that we book with Picnix Co. They bring you the meal and what is needed for a prefect picnic and the park is the perfect location for it. Great view on the lake, tons of spots in the shades as well as sunny spots. It was great.

Ok, and here's why. Queens Royal Park (where the gazebo is located) is way down on the list at #86 for Niagara on the Lake. This gazebo shouldn't warrant a mention even. No one was using the gazebo and it was just....a gazebo. The Park on the other hand - I gave four stars. Great view and great for picnicing - very small though and with a fee.

During my visit to Niagara-on-the-Lake in April 2022, I walked down to see the Queens Royal Park Gazebo. It was a cold and windy day so I did not stay long. The view of the lake was great with many photo opportunities. It is only a ten-minute walk from Queen Street and worthwhile.

Almost make this a part of our visit to Niagara-on-the-lake. So quiet and peaceful this time of year. Usually busier in the summer, but the view makes it worth it. Love to take those pictures you will cherish the rest of your life.

Beautiful little setting for pictures! Located right at the waterfront, this venue is great for picnics or just grabbing a coffee and sitting by the waters edge. Parking can be a challenge during peak seasons however.

Great view and place to have a picnic. Also the walkway along this area is scenic and a must if visiting the area. Visited off season so it was not busy at all. One of my favourite spots

The park is basically unchanged since my first visit 70 years ago. A great place for the children to run, the dogs (on leash) to walk, and others to photograph.

We always rent the same cottage steps away and it is wonderful every morning we take our dogs for their walks with other early risers.

In the reviews, it mentions picnic tables. Are there a fair amount, or just a couple? Would anyone care to take a guess?

Just a handful. If you are going on a popular day, its probably not a bad idea to plan for a picnic on a blanket
Can we do some bbq in the park?

When we were there in June I did see a couple of BBQS being set up but I think you'd be better contacting Niagara on the lake tourist information as they are helpful.
