We were in Ottawa for a day and when we got to parliament the tickets were sold out! :( the tickets are free. I would recommend visiting the parliament earlier.

This is definite a must do in Ottawa. To see it , first go through a vigorous security check. An amazing chance to see the inside of parliment.

The Parliament Hill in Ottawa with a visit of parliament building is a good place to visit. You get to know the Canadian parliamentary history and the historical building itself is in a beautiful setting.

They were very regular ours was 1230 By the way it's free all you need to do is collect a timed ticket from the office on the other side of the road
