I frequently walk by this monument and each time I get goosebumps. It is a constant reminder of all those who died in the numerous wars so that we could maintain our freedom. If in Ottawa, please do visit and pay your respects and thanks....More

I have been to Ottawa many times, but this was only the second time I was there on November 11. As a Canadian, I would encourage everyone to visit during this time of Rememberance. There is a peaceful, respectful vibe that is a nice change...More

Even in the cold of winter you will still find people taking a moment to pause and pay their respects. Be sure to take some time here in the summer months to see men and women standing gaurd and other ceremonies.

My fave monument in Capital City. I always find an excuse to walk by it and given the recent attack and loss of life at this memorial it adds to it's profound nature. Of course it is even more exciting to be in Ottawa on...More

This is a very impressive memorial. It spans all wars and eras of combat. Made me appreciate our veterans even more than I already have.

Visited this monument out of respect for our fallen soldiers. I think a lot of people fail to recognize or remember the sacrifice made for our freedoms.
