Absolutely an amazing monument and a must stop for everyone visiting Ottawa. To stop and watch the changing of the guard and reflect on what the monument stands for especially with the recent history will change you forever This is a very special place

This is a must see for every Canadian and visitor. A quiet reminder of the sacrifices made past and present for our country. For all the busyness in everyday life-this will make you stop and breathe for a few minutes.

I am always down at the memorial for the Remembrance Day ceremonies, it's flooded with people from near and far to support and salute our fallen troops.

I can go and sit at the memorial for hours on end just drawing or even just sitting there thinking and reflecting. The changing of the guard happens every hour on the hour if you want to see one happen. A wonderful and nice place...More
