It has been a number of years since last visiting Stratford, but after the last visit we have to make this a yearly escape. Last season we saw Shakespeare in Love and it was better than the movie on which the play is based. The acting. the costumes the sets were all first rate. Stratford is also such a pretty... More

If you have never been here, you must plan to go. We go to see plays and musicals every year and have always been delighted and often amazed. Book early for best seats and prices; plan to take in local restaurants and shops.

We spent the weekend in Stratford for the festival and took in three shows, all were excellent. If looking to save money try getting tickets the morning of the show, but ensure they aren't sold out.

We have enjoyed live theatre in many of the world's famous venues and The Stratford Festival is right up there with the best available. Everything they present is a first class act.

"A 5-6-7-8!? Out of curiosity and because of affordable tickets, went to see A Chorus Line at the Stratford Festival to see if it measured up. Well, it did and was pleasantly amazed by the proximity of our seats to the stage. All for $25 per person. The show's retelling of a chorus line audition for a fictional Seventies Broadway... More

Enjoyed two shows. The Hypochondriac , hilarious. Outstanding performance by the entire cast. Second show was the ultimate classic Macbeth, a must see.
