I brought my boyfriend here when he came up from the United States so that he could see the city lights. It was a gorgeous sight and not something even the locals are able to see very often. It was quite busy in there but it was really interesting to be able to read the information on the walls while... More

We purchased the city pass for toronto. It was worth it. The kids loved the glass floor. The view from all sides was amazing. I highly recommend this attraction. Buy your tickets in advance to avoid waiting in long lines!

Go on a clear day and you will see for miles across Toronto and beautiful Lake Ontario with its island. Well worth a visit. Has indoor and outdoor viewing areas and a glass floor for those who don't mind heights!

My 2nd time to the tower. And view is still amazing. We didn't go to the skytower, but that's on the to do list. Always love walking on the glass and look down.

We had dinner at the top for my wife's birthday. The meal was amazing as was the view. The rotation of the restaurant takes an hour so you will have a chance to see everything. I would recommend making reservations for just prior to dusk so that you can see the city in the daylight, and also at night. The... More

Sensing a thrill of being in the height. Standing or lying down on the glass floor of the tower and looking down is a wonderful experience. Indeed, it is a beautiful place for sightseeing Toronto 360 degree from above.

We really enjoyed the views and pushed ourselves to lay on the glass floors. The restaurant was very delicious too but not cheap.

We took a two grade three classes to the CN Tower, a couple of months ago. The children had the most amazing time learning about the entire structure. There was even a children's play area which was used after lunch. They had a blast and so did the parent volunteers and the teachers. We all felt like tourists and the... More

Was excited to see the glass floor but it's only about 2ft long so you don't really see much. Rest of the views were nice but we went after dark and you only really saw the reflection of the lightbulbs on the window so no real photo ops. Nice if it's your first time in the city.

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
