Fun at the Beach

I was pleasantly surprised to find the beach on the lake and so many people were out relaxing and having a good time.

Its a breathtaking view of the Lake Ontario in the fall, with colourful trees everywhere and birds in the water.

We have a house overlooking the lake. It is something to dream for. Morning jogging or sunset walks... I love Toronto and the lake!

I am fortunate to have had the privilege of living for over 30 years in a Toronto home that backed directly onto Lake Ontario. Not a day would pass in all those years when the unobstructed view of that magnificent body of water would not be different. From the stillness of a mirror-like pond, to an angry and wind-swept raging... More

Though it is a long way from city it is worthy to drive. Big trees along the lake shore, beautiful houses, small islands were spectacular

Walking along Lake Ontario by Humber Bay is awesome! It is quite and very relaxing! Beautiful scenery! You can see downtown Toronto, CN tower is an amazing view specially when it is a sunny day. I highly recommend for those people who are looking for a nice, relaxing and quite walk by the lake.

How much more fortunate can Torontonians and visitors to Toronto be than to have this magnificent city resting on the shores of this Greatest of the Great Lakes. Perfect topography, a sailor's paradise, the water sports enthusiast's fresh water dream, waterside restaurants for romantic interludes and then there is Toronto Island thrown into the equation for a bit of fun.... Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
