A great place for an afternoon walk, take the time to grab a bit to eat, have an ice cream and a coffee. The only downside is that Greektown is become a lot less Greek as many of the Greek businesses have closed.

Nice area for a wander around the shops, bars and restaurants. This area feels like a proper individual town with a mix of cultures despite being predominantly Greek. Served well by subway line 2 and easy access to parks and downtown depending on what you...More

Hardly a classic Greek neighborhood: A few Greek restaurants, one nice French bakery, one nice Greek bakery, and not much else that is Greek. If you want ethnic food, go to Little India in Toronto or nearby Little Ethiopia.

Right on Danforth there are lots of restaurant options, a variety of stores and a great market. Sidewalks are wide and easy to navigate. Worth a stroll on the afternoon prior to dinner.

Greektown is a charming little spot with lots of little shops and places to eat. I especially loved the gelato so I had some every day..

Danforth is one of the favorite place for the people living in the East York part of Toronto. It is attractive with the big number of restaurants, stores, and events.

East End
The East End is an eclectic amalgamation of areas that
team up to make this district one of the most
multi-faceted and alluring. Home to Toronto's LGBT
community hub, Gay Village is alive and pumping day or
night with friendly bars, nightclubs, and cafes – its
thumb is on the pulse of excitement. For a more
relaxed day, the East End has the largest collection
of restored Victorian homes, and its stately streets,
